The Charleston Battery added two additional matches to their preseason schedule with a home and away series against North Carolina FC.
NCFC will visit Patriots Point on Friday, April 16th for an afternoon friendly. The Battery will then make the trip to Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park for a rematch on Friday, April 30th. It will be the only times the Battery see their Southern Derby rival this year after NCFC moved to USL League One for the 2021 season.
Due to ongoing construction at Patriots Point to prepare for the regular season home opener on May 14, the April 16th exhibition will be closed to the public. The April 30th match at WakeMed Soccer Park will also be closed to the public.
