CHARLESTON, SC – Wednesday night’s suspended match between the Charleston Battery and Richmond Kickers has been rescheduled for Wednesday, August 31st at 7:00pm at City Stadium. The Kickers will honor all tickets from the original match. The match will be replayed in its entirety.
The trip to Richmond comes between two tough home games for the Battery. Charleston plays Charlotte Independence on Saturday, August 27th and Rochester Rhinos on Saturday, September 3rd. The clashes with Charlotte (11-6-6), Richmond (11-6-6), and Rochester (9-5-9) have major implications on the playoff picture, with all four teams jockeying for positioning in the table down the stretch.
