USA RUGBY vs Canada at Blackbaud Stadium to be broadcast live on ESPN in HD
BOULDER, Colo. – USA Rugby has confirmed that the USA Eagles July 4 World Cup Qualifier versus Canada will be broadcast live on ESPN in HD. The game kicks off at 4 PM (EST) and is being played at Blackbaud Stadium, Daniel Island, SC; the home of the USL First Division Charleston Battery. This is the first ever USA Rugby match to be broadcast on ESPN in HD and first full international Rugby match ever played in South Carolina.
The USA Men’s National Team versus Canada is the first of two IRB Rugby World Cup Qualifier matches the Eagles will play this summer as the Eagles attempt to qualify for 2011 World Cup to be held in New Zealand.
