The Regiment
In the tradition of clubs around the world, the Charleston Battery have a legion of faithful supporters known as "The Regiment" - the official supporter's club of the Charleston Battery. The Regiment's goal is stated on the group's web site :
"Our goal . . . is to have a lot of fun. Our goal . . . is to create atmosphere at Battery matches. We want to sing, yell, make noise, and stand and cheer during the game. We want to goad other Battery fans into singing, yelling, making noise, standing, and cheering during the game."
